Thorough experience, good support

I enrolled in the Esthetician Licensure Program about six months ago. The enrollment process was smooth, and the team helped me understand the financial aid options, which was a big plus. The course itself is comprehensive, covering everything from Anatomy for Estheticians to Sanitation and Safety Certification. We also got a professional starter kit that was genuinely useful; didn't feel like cheap filler. My only minor gripe was that sometimes responses from support took a day or two, but they always resolved my questions effectively. The instructors are passionate, and the online modules are easy to follow. I appreciate the focus on practical skills and state board prep.

Loved my Waxing course!

I just finished the Waxing Specialist Course and it was fantastic! The instructors were so knowledgeable, and I felt really prepared by the end. I'm already planning to enroll in the Lash Extension Certification next. So glad I found Esthi Academy!

Good value for a new skill

I was looking to add a new service, and the Brow Lamination Training caught my eye. I waited for a seasonal tuition sale and got $150 off, which made a difference. The materials were included, and I felt the overall cost was fair for learning a new skill I can use right away. It felt worth the investment.

Consistently good training

This was my third course with Esthi Academy, this time the Microdermabrasion Training. Like my previous experiences with the Chemical Peel and Dermaplaning workshops, the content was clear and the hands-on practice was thorough. They always deliver what they promise, which is why I keep coming back for more advanced certs. The online portal is easy to navigate too.

How does Esthi Academy compare to Aveda or Paul Mitchell? Are they on the same level, or more specialized?

C Cody 1 month ago
They're more specialized in esthetics for sure. Aveda and Paul Mitchell are bigger, more general beauty schools. Esthi Academy is really focused on skin.

Different vibe. Esthi Academy feels more career-focused just on skin and specific treatments. The other two are huge beauty conglomerates.

Hey everyone, thinking about signing up for the Esthetician Licensure Program. How legit is Esthi Academy? Never heard of them before.

L Laura 3 weeks ago
Yeah, they're legit. I finished my advanced skincare course with them last year. Got my certification no problem.

Totally legit. It's a proper school, not some fly-by-night thing. They prepare you really well for state board stuff.

Do these guys offer any student discounts or scholarship opportunities? Tuition is kinda steep for the advanced courses.

M Mike H. 1 month ago
They definitely have scholarships! I know someone who got one for early enrollment. You have to apply for them directly though.

Yeah, they do. Also heard about seasonal sales, like around Black Friday. Keep an eye out for those too.

Anyone know how the online classes work for the continuing education? Is it live lectures or more like self-paced videos?

G Greg G. 3 weeks ago
From what I remember when I checked them out for CEUs, it's mostly self-paced, pre-recorded stuff. You can do it on your own time which is nice.

J James Nguyen 3 weeks ago
Yeah, I did a few CE courses. Definitely not live. You watch the videos and then usually have a quiz or assignment after each module.

Thinking of taking the Chemical Peel Certification. Are the kits they give you good quality? Or will I need to buy a bunch of extra stuff?

A Amber 1 month ago
The starter kit for my microdermabrasion course was pretty decent. Had enough to get going and practice. You might want to upgrade later but it's a solid start.

Mine was good! Included a textbook and all the core supplies. Didn't feel like I was missing anything crucial for the actual training.

For the Medical Esthetics Cert, what kind of job placement help do they actually give? Is it just resume tips or actual connections?

R Rachel Torres 1 month ago
They do help. I got some good leads from their career services after my program. They'll help you with your resume and sometimes share job openings.

It's not a guarantee, but they do have connections and help with resumes and interview prep. It's more than nothing.

wondering about the refund policy for their courses. What if something comes up and I can't start or finish? Anyone have experience with this?

C Cleo 1 month ago
I had to withdraw from a workshop due to a family emergency. They have a specific policy, you gotta check it but it's not a full refund if you're past a certain point.

D Dan Patel 1 month ago
They're pretty clear about it on their site. It's not like you can just get all your money back if you bail mid-program, so read the fine print first.
